The Chinese Language Preservation Project[edit | edit source]

The Chinese Language Preservation Project is a project of Li Ao which was established in the hope of preserving the use of the Chinese language with the way of usages of authentic language. Because of social media norms and the increasingly improper language uses in social media platforms, use of authentic Chinese language in the fields of science studies have never became into a normal thing in China. Because of influence of Chinese Internet users such improper use have already became less popular in Taiwan, despite the two territories officially make use of different variants of the Chinese language.

Purpose of the Project[edit | edit source]

The Project aims to provide a comprehensive view on the usages of the Chinese language for both mentioned variants. The purposes of this Project is to:--

  1. Promote the use and spread of authentic Chinese language;
  2. Promote the consequences of using inauthentic Chinese language and its harmful side to everyday users, and
  3. Further help the Chinese society to have authentic Chinese language where they can use for free by learning from other native speakers.

Li Ao knows the consequences of using inauthentic Chinese language especially the variants developed in the Tencent and Zhihu community. As a Chinese speaker he aims to preserve authentic language uses in order to save the heritage of the Chinese language.
